Chicken Alfredo bake
INGREDIENTS
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced or shredded chicken breast, and Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until everything is well coated.
Transfer the pasta mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
Once baked, remove the Chicken Alfredo Bake from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
